Hello everyone,
Even though I am in the US, wanted to join as I enjoy the site, and reminds me of my visits to India. Looking forward to my trip there in MAY.
For you DELHI spotters, just a note if you want to see/and get some pictures tomorrow. Continetal's flight from EWR is about 13 hrs late today and will arrive in DEL tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 0930.
Not only is it there during the day, it is COs new 777 on it's first revenue flight.
Enjoy. |

No I don't work for CO, just at CO...if that makes any sense.
However, I guess tecnically you are right..9970 did carry cargo to EWR, so that makes this the first revenue "passenger" flight. |

Well, it is like 105-110 in the shade here already, so a 0930 arrival (peak arrival time for domestic flights, usual hold 30-45 minutes easy) will make a departure around noon or 1pm. That is going to probably place load restrictions due to temperature, I guess?
And how does a flight turn 13 hours late, was it a planned delay or what? Just curious. |
