Can anyone please highlight the difference between airliners.net and jetphotos.net? Is any harder than the other? i have never used jetphotos before, are their standard much higher than those of airliners.net? If they are then it would be rather difficult to get pics up on there because airliners.net is hard enough!
regards
nitin |
I have over 500 shots on Jetphotos and almost 250 on A.net. I guess that pretty much sums up the difference. Airliners is a bit more consistent with screening. Viewership for A.net is much more.
Many features in Jetphotos.net are better(profile, equipment used, exif, spotting groups, spotter log book etc) and the forum is more friendly and the crew too are decent and half of the crew are A.net members. Jetphotos also owns railpitures.net which I find is the hardest site to get accepted.
If I give A.net 10/10 then Jp would be 8. I have had pictures rejected by JP and the same picture accepted by A.net( majority of cases are opposite).
JP can be used as a prescreening to A.net to improve anet rejection ratio.
Nice shot Yash! |

Rejected 5 times but up finally accepted at JP, here is Air India A321-211 VT-PPA by Yash Rajgor. Took me almost 15/20 mins to edit out the bugs. And there's nothing like hardwork paying-off.

Great work guys - hopefully we'll have 100s of pictures shot in India on A.net and JP.net now.
Especially nice are Birendra's shot of "rajdoot", Yash's of PPA, and Vishal's of the UK heavies. |
