o The lighting/tone is drastically different. Would it be similar if you play with this pic to cool down or warmify the pic?
o there seems to be noise in your 2816 x 2112, but significantly less noticeable in 1024 x 768
o Is the 1024 your size or flicker's?
Thanks,

o Due to weather conditions I had set it up at "Clowdy", else in Auto or Daylight they come out a bit blueish. I am regreting not changing the settings to experiement. Also the digital viewfinder of S4 is very bright and gives a feeling of good exposure compared to what you finally get to see on compu. Check out this one, was taken in Auto settings
o Frankly not proficient with Photoshop and prefer not to edit the photos. You can attribute it to my arrogant streak.
o That noice you see at 2816 is there on pretty much all the shots where I've zoomed to max. That happens more so in Aviation photos than in my Macro.
o I upload the full size, its Flickr which converts it into various sizes. I don't think they do any enhancement, so all the +s and -s are attributed to my camera.
PnS is pass...there is no fun in Aviation photography without an DSLR. Aiming for D80 and the biggest charm being that 135mm kit lens. _________________ [url=http://openflights.org/user/aseemsjohri]

Aseem, Photo editing is a must. It is called a digital dark room. Just clicking and downloading the picture is only 50% of the job done. |

All credit goes to Shekar & Yash.
Editing credit goes to Shekar & Karan.
Spotting credit goes to Shekar & Yash.
The only credit that i deserve is the enthusiasm by which i like to go spotting and enjoy watching these birds with all my hearts content. _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

My piece of advice, start to upload on Jetphotos or planepictures first, if it gets accepted there, it means it is acceptable quality, then go for A.net. I had followed this procedure during my intial year. |

It is leased to a company called NetJets. (from airfleets)
NetJets is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which offers fractional ownership and rental of private jets. (source:Wikipedia) _________________ My Flickr photos

The only man i can think of when i look at this picture is Shekar. I could not click if it were not for him.
And many thanks to Hon. Kamlesh Purswani for the edit, again Shekar played a role here. _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

Congrats!! I'm sure you'll be more thrilled to see it in JP than myaviation.net. Now only A.net is left, but since you've seen the steps of editing while sending to JP you can soon get accepted in A.net also.
I too have some pictures on Jetphotos.

I go most weekends. Rain no special protection, may be plastic bag should do it on a SLR. I don't stand in the open all the timebut sit in my car and get out only to take a shot when a plane passes. |

Thanks.
But rains in mumbai are far from plastic bags...and the place we spot, there are no place to stand without holding ur nostrils, leave alone park a car _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

I managed to take one pics from BLR (Indigo Airlines) although I could have taken some more until my co-passenger ruined it by asking me to stop taking pics. That made me .He asked me to delete it.
So I deleted the bad shot out of three which I took.I made him to believe that I removed it .How many of you had this problem with your co-passengers not allowing you to take pics? _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |

He does not have any right to ask you to delete pics or ask you to stop taking pics. You could just ignore him.
I have taken pics numerous times from within the aircraft. The only time I was told not to take pics was at BLR by the airhostess (she said that it was a defence airport). I packed my camera for the time being, but was once again at it on landing at COK. _________________ My Flickr photos

Unless, you are taking his picture, he has no business to tell you anything. Just tell him that "you are not in the photo", you could show the preview just to prove it.
Last time when I was flying to LHR in KU there was a beautiful young Italian girl on the window seat and me on the aisle seat. i took some wing shots and jokingly told her " don't worry I am not taking your picture", she was cool and I showed her the shots I took.
