Why AI flies to FRA for connections. They should focus on good O&D routes. My guess is 95% of the traffic VIE-DEL was connections (could be wrong). |

What's the reason for this?
The usual ME3 syndrome?
Or is LH planning on putting an LX 77W on the DEL route? |

Why? You don't think AI is losing enough money already?
If they couldn't build a European hub in LHR or FRA, fat chance they have of building one in VIE. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

According to that article, OS is using the frames to boost Shanghai capacity. The ME3 just provide a reason for the LH group to scapegoat someone.
Besides, if LH wanted to, they would've boosted OS's longhaul fleet rather than force them to cut out DEL. _________________ |

With the LH group having BRU, FRA, MUC, ZRH & VIE, I really don't see what VIE brings to the table wrt to India. Other than maybe a ski route like Innsbruck in there a connection city of importance that is lost for the lH group to offer India?
Don't get me wrong, I think its really sad that India is losing connectivity and connections wrt to nonstop destinations and airlines that serve the country. |

OS will fly a charter flight to COK sometime this month as part of round the world tour, a 777 in the outgoing blue belly livery is operating it as Zurich-New Orleans-Honolulu-Tokyo-Kyoto-Shanghai-Da Nang-Kochi-Abu Dhabi-Zurich. |
