They should focus on good O&D routes. My guess is 95% of the traffic VIE-DEL was connections (could be wrong). The ME3 just provide a reason for the LH group to scapegoat someone. Other than maybe a ski route like Innsbruck in there a connection city of importance that is lost for the lH group to offer India? Don't get me wrong, I think its really sad that India is losing connectivity and connections wrt to nonstop destinations and airlines that serve the country.
