Pamir Airways (ICAO :PIR) is one of the newest airlines to operate from DEL. They have a bi-weekly service from Kabul. Here NR219 taxies to Terminal 2 after arriving 2.5 hrs behind schedule. The flight was run using an extremely rare (for DEL) Boeing 737-4YO (regn EY-358) owned and operated by East Air of Tajikistan.

Thats not so bad, I have seen worse. The positioning is Delhi is ok as far as foreigners are concerned. Only, if you try to measure it it may seem somewhere like Nagpur. |

It was a great experience, I had met the CEO of the ATC group a few months ago, who offered. I took up his offer
Yes it was really cool, a once in a life time kind of experience.

Where did you click this one from, for instance.
Thanks, Sumantra. |

Aseem, that *IS* a nice catch! However, I wonder as to why you do not
post your pictures at places where one can see better resolution versions.
Many members here post their work on flickr, after adding a copyright
notice. I do not know how effective this is in avoiding piracy, but in this
case for instance, one would have liked to see the plane registration itself,
which is not visible in the image in the size you have posted. I wonder
if www.myaviation.net is an option, in case one does not like the stringent
restrictions of A.net or JP.net. IMHO, you are a good photographer, and
I for one, would like to see your work in better resolution versions.
Thanks, Sumantra. |

thanks for words of appreciation. Personally, I dislike the stringent rules put forward by A.net or even JP.net, but I think I should take serious look at MyAviation.net. Also, it is only recently that I have opened up to cropping and editing photos as with aviation you normally don't get time to frame well. Also, most of the time weather does not work in your favour so realizing that little tweeking doesn't do much harm to your reputation. Regarding Flickr, I've restricted full version to those who I count as "Friends".
I guess I need to be more active on JP and MyAviation. Also, if you are on Flickr, then I can add you as "Friend" and that will give you access to full size photos.
Thanks again.
