Woo hoo - finally!!!!
This will be a big step towards joining *A - and I do hope that AI are able to accomplish that fairly soon. I know many folks (including myself) would prefer to fly AI via DEL T3 instead of LH via FRA. Better food/ drinks and IFE would help big time _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Feb. 27 is still 3 days away. The GOI, the unions, or even hanuman himself can change things before then. I'll believe it when I see it. |

Well - if AI does stick to the plan and make it happen, no reason to get bitter. But if not I for one will be deeply disappointed. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Ditto. This is the second date in fact, the first being pushed because of the IC staffers snarling at unequal pay. _________________ Yeah. |

Wow - this is something to look forward to. I hope the IC issues have been attended to peacefully in a way that has not yet made it to the papers. I also see the Flying Returns webpage unavailable till 28 Feb - so I guess the turnaround to a single code will take place around midnight - the midnight of the 27th. Again, I find myself flying around the cusp period: 27 Feb BOM-DEL and 02 March DEL-BOM. I'll watch this space for up-to-date information on the same. The AI and IC webpages still do not reflect any change, or any announcement to this effect.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Perhaps yes! I tried to web check-in for my flight tomorrow - the `new' check-in page did not work. I tried the next best option - to tele-check-in. This worked, and the answer I got for the non-functional web check-in page was... that they were in a software upgrade process. The 27 Feb date now looks very realistic!

They already conducted 2 successful dry-runs, so I hope this time IC pilots don't screw things up. _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. I do hope they join star this year so that I can fly them on ORD-DEL. Would hate to fly UA on a long haul flight. _________________ Geniuses are always misunderstood in their lifetimes. |

The merger of AI and IC is finally complete, with the systems integration. Too bad 9W - S2 is still not completed. |

Just goes to show, how anything connected to the government equates to disaster, a merger supposed to be complete in an year takes 4, and usually court cases in the country take an average 10 years. _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. What about the CD code? does it remain in use by AI Regional or has become redundant as well. |

Pretty awesome to see the new website. Love the Hindi version of the website as well.
Hope when the flying returns website is up it will have clear qualification criteria for the various 'clubs' or levels in flying returns |
