British Airways wins injunction to avert major holiday strike
Fair Use:
| Quote: | London, England (CNN) -- A strike that would have threatened the travel plans of up to one million British Airways passengers during Christmas and the New Year cannot go ahead, a judge ruled Thursday.
Judge Laura Cox issued an injunction blocking the planned 12-day strike, which was set to start December 22.
The airline immediately issued a statement saying it is "delighted for our customers."
