Although these incidents are depressing to hear I am not shocked. It has happened before and sadly will happen in the future.
It doesn’t matter that these were first class pax- such behavior needs to be dealt with sternly.
How hard can it be for the airline to prove that the passengers were doing what the crew says they were? There were other passengers there I presume, and even if the plane was empty the airline should have some backup plan of action.
I admit flying and having things not work is frustrating, more so in first class. But there are ways to deal with the situation. Maybe the crew actually wasn’t helpful- we don’t know. But I do know that confrontation in the air is dangerous and not an available solution.
Let the airline prove that the accused did what they did (and said) and never let them fly again.
