I am Star Alliance Gold, so how does the baggage allowance work? Am I allowed only a single bag of 40kg? The weight limit should be 40kg, but there should be no limit on the number of pieces. An Economy ticket gets you a limit of 20 kgs irrespective of the number of pieces, but the *G status should give you 20kgs more. Cheers, Sumantra.
