Flying DEL-HKG in Y on AI. I am Star Alliance Gold, so how does the baggage allowance work? Am I allowed only a single bag of 40kg? |

I don't know about international, but on a domestic AI flight I was given an additional 20 kg allowance as a star gold. |

The weight limit should be 40kg, but there should be no limit on the number of pieces. An Economy ticket gets you a limit of 20 kgs irrespective of the number of pieces, but the *G status should give you 20kgs more.
Cheers, Sumantra. |
