I've flown on this girl a few times. She's AI's youngest owned 744 delivered in November '96. I remember during a stopover at LHR in December '96 the plane we were on had a problem and had to be fumigated due to a rat or something and they (Heathrow authorities) wouldn't allow anyone back on. After a delay a shiny new Velha Goa pulled in and our flight continued. That was probably the last time that plane looked good on the inside. |

All the 6 Air India 747s (owned) will look new again as and when the new look is executed and the new Thales i4000 IFE is installed. |
