any survey that tries to find best airport in India is meaningless....not untill we have 4-5 world class airports.. _________________ [url=http://openflights.org/user/aseemsjohri]

Not just enough being a pretty building, and functioning as the gateway to the Middle East, which Cochin really is.
What about air connectivity with the world?
Mumbai is miles ahead on that count and that is what really mattered in the end even if the preception is that its a dump. |

See Krishna thats something which market dynamics decide. U cant find faults and blame CIAL as there are no direct flights to US/Europe. In todays competetive world u need to sell urself and i am sure as the brand God,s Own Country grows and gathers more momentum COK will get better and better as an airport. _________________ Expeditors- You'd be surprised how far we will go for you www.expeditors.com |

Both airports are supposed to be running entirely on schedule. And I know BLR will in fact start testing the facility about 6 months before opening.
I just hope there's a half-decent lounge facility now for intl flights. Given it's a new airport, hopefully *A (TG, SQ, LH), will invest in their own lounge, while it's possible Skyteam (AF) and Oneworld (BA) will use a "shared lounge", since their flights operate at different times.
Has BIAL planned any lounges? Any idea what the airlines have requested? |
