UAE's national carrier Etihad Airways will double its flights to India by June and expand its operations by adding two more routes. 'By the beginning of June, the total number of Etihad flights to India each week will rise from 10 to 21,' said the company in a statement here.

It will add two more routes to Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi, which will begin May 31 and Kochi June 3 respectively. The airlines will operate a three cabin Airbus A340-500 that has the capacity to carry 240 passengers. With this move, the airlines will fly to nine destinations in India.
