Beautiful capture, Captain - thank you very much!
This must have been taken before 30 Apr 2010, right?
I heard in early April that the Air India Agatti flights were to stop on 30 Apr - end of the lease, I guess?
Thanks once again, Sumantra. |

Which one is the A310? The closest AI is a 77L I presume. And the one behind that in the old livery- is that the A310? _________________ Yeah. |

Thanks guys for your comments!
@ Sean - It was quite a cacophony. But I am sure it was nothing compared to two AN-124s + A346 + MD-11!

Yes, the A310 is the one in the old livery. The closest AI 777 is not a 77L but the lone 772A - "Hamsadhwani". Note the absence of raked wingtips on the aircraft (which can be seen on the 77W in the background)

Oh yes! My once-in-a-lifetime thrill at BOM! Can never forget that day ! It was a din allright - 15 powerplants ! Had to consult my ENT specialist soon after just to make sure my eardrums were intact!
This is what we lurrrrrrrv abt our good ol VABB! What say Vivek?
that was the virgin 343 btw in d queue!
Vivek , if you compare the two shots, since theres a decent distance between the 4 beasts, i still feel the saudi743 screech and the megaarch whine wud have been an equally if not more noisy combine ! |

Both were over the Arabian Sea while flying along on the airway M300. EY was taken while we were flying Westbound and the UL one later in the evening while flying Eastbound. _________________ Always do everything into wind...... except piss |

Beas... this bird was nose down on runway at DEL sometime in May 2006. I was at DEL airport enroute to KUU. Had arrived from PNQ by IT and was waiting for DN flight to KUU, when suddenly all TVs in the terminal started showing, breaking news, emergency at DEL airport, and all the people flocked the limited glass covered panels from where you could get some view of tarmac.
Got stuck in the chaos , since one runway was closed.
terminal 1A,Delhi airport, all airlines togeather.. ! |
