Considering that Jet is now starting its services to the US...should Jet look to strike FF alliance with another one of the US carriers (besides the NW alliance it already has)?

I don't think CO would be a candidate considering that the two airlines would compete directly on the BOM-BRU segment and indirectly on the BOM-EWR (Jet's 1 stop vs CO's announced non-stop) OR Idea is Jet looking at cashing in on NW's FF members? Is it possible that Jet will sell tickets to O&D passengers on NW coded CO flights out of EWR?

Would another US carrier be interested in striking a FF alliance with Jet?...Remember the still born alliance with UA!!

how about roping in UA, the only major US player not serving the market. Unless UA has plans of its own.

The current buzz is that AI is poised to join Star Alliance. If this happens, then 9W would definitely be invited by Sky Team or One World.
