A brief trip-report with no photos, but a ton of tribute to EMB-175. Had booked Air Canada to fly YYZ-BOS-YYZ, and got a one way Tango fare of $104, totalling $323.66 all inclusive. With Tango fare you don't have the luxury of choosing your seat, but with CRJ on forward and EMB-175 on return that is something I'd not bother. In these planes you either get window or aile, even if you shout for middle seat on top of your voice.

Anyway on my forward journey, I had EMB-175 instead of CRJ. I was happy about that as it was my first on EMB and I am not very fond of CRJs, though never travelled in them.

And Voila!! The leg space in Economy was just amazing! Seat width had to be good was the plane is 2X2, but never imagned such a luxurious leg space on a plane that does not fly transcontinental. I have travelled in AC's A319/321, B763, A343/5 & B772LR, but non had such a leg space to boast off. Their A319/321 are definately the sardines cans of the worst kind, typically low-costish! But their EMB are unthinkable in these times. They could have easily had leg space A319 kind and created two more rows. Anyways, good they didn't.

Would presume other Star Alliance partners flying EMBs like US Airways and United too would have same layout in their EMBs. Anybody please confirm.

Conclusion: The next time I am flying AC within the continent, I'll be chosing their EMBs without doubt.

I agree with you, Aseem.
Recently, I flew YWG-YYC return, E90 on YWG-YYC sector and CRA (CRJ 705) on return. I thoroughly enjoyed both type of aircrafts.

I guess, Air Canada is saving $$ on their North American routes by introducing these birds....I don't miss their old A320s.
