if we are getting the names correctly, then this one should be called "Arunachal Pradesh". How about flying it to PVG
This is frame #621 and next one of interest is #627 which is VT-JEA (9W's 77W), and after that #629 which is VT-ALC.

I guess its 2. One aircraft on stand by for any route incase needed. 3x aircrafts for a daily basis that to for one flight a day will be too expensive for an airline like AI to bear _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

Dont forget that each flight is around 15-16 hrs long and there is a fairly long layover at JFK for the aircraft.

Is this the interior of the new AI 777-200LR?
A look at the seat covers shows it is in a brown/Oriental design. Not the manufacturers Original scheme.
Head rest covers look like there is an "AIR INDIA" on it.

Not making much headway with getting the interior pics. But trying still. |

I guess no.. two reasons: One: it has Boeing logo put AI wouldn't do that IMO .. second the picture has a Anet/MyAv.net tag ... tried searching but no results _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

False lead!
Seems to be the demo aircraft when the 777-200LR was on its world tour. |

1) I think the PIA B777 livery looks a tad more stylish.
2) The Air India J-seats dont look bigger than Y-seats?- just more partition. I hate the 2-3-2 J class layout. although AI has thankfully made the Y class layout as 3-3-3.
3) The brownish seat fabric color on the Y- class seats reminds me of, well, you-know-what |
