I'll be flying this segment in a few weeks, I was wondering if there is any TR regarding this route? _________________

Well...I did this route a few months ago...but as an employee...The Inflight crews are really nice ...but the mannerism of the desi janta really turns them off...Desi's are really rude at times and there will be a lot of farting...i am not kidding...Other than that..it is just like the CO EWR-DEL flight...Enjoy your AA flight... |

Farting is not simply a desi habit.
German passengers and even the fancy French do it with gusto. On airplanes.
Try taking a late night Lufthansa or Air France flight and I swear that some of the sounds and smells will awaken you from even the deepest slumber. |

It is simply a biological consequence of air pressure in the stomach happens all over the world..Boeing gave a lot of attention to cabin air re-circulation while designing B777 for long haul? |

I had thought that the sound of engines and other background noise, surrounding chatter, and seat cushions, all muffle out such noises. Maybe not. A very long flight can amplify the problem. |

Well maybe the seat cushion muffles the smell too? Unless the person needs to lift in order to release.
Maybe I'm lucky not to have heard or smelled flatulence on planes, or maybe I just try to block out my surroundings. I was really amused to hear the original charge.
Seriously, sorry to hear about your recent unpleasant AI experience. The software/service was one thing, which can vary from flight to flight, but I was quite surprised about the hardware coming apart so soon.
The problem with these very long flights by AI, AA, whoever, is that the negative aspects (whether bad FAs, malfunctioning IFE, or even a serially flatulating seatmate) become quite amplified. |
