Hi Gang,
I was browsing through photos of BOM on Airliners.net. As of right now - 10AM IST, we have exactly 600 photos taken at BOM on Anet.
Although this number seems to be very less as compared to LHR (37000 plus), HKG (16000 plus) or HEL (12000 plus), it is the highest for any Indian airport on Anet. DEL comes second at 86 photos, MAA is at 29 photos.
Interestingly, the first shot of BOM on Anet was by Rajesh Changela - of an IC A320 taken in January 1998
The latest shot from BOM at this moment is also by Rajesh Changela - of an AI 744.

Although i have contributed pretty less in this cout of 600 pix but still i feel proud on behalf of the Spotting Groups of Bombay and other visitor spottors who visit the spotting locations in the city and post the pix on the sites.
way to go folks..

Vivek,
Yes been doing this since college days. Picked up hobby when I was 10 and lived in Rajkot. My house is only 2 km from field, and back in those days we got the very classic IC Avro 748, best part we could almost walk up to it without being a passanger!
I should upload more but my 6 year old is all my life and making time available to do CS4 and posting gets sometimes second priority. However after this years VHHH & WSSS visit, you can bet next spotting outing is already in the planning.
But I agree that India should have more coverage on popular sites and the spotters there are doing heck of a job, especially with the strict guidelines of photography at Indian fields in past. The recent Mumbai attacks made things even more complicated.
Rest assured I will try to contribute whenever I can.
Cheers
Raj
PS: Heres another one from the past.
