Any idea if those TNT TU-204s been 'dumped' as in stored , or are they still operational ? They look to be in fairly good condition. |

Wow 747-237, you could make out the fact that the latter was an `M' model from this distance, and through the haze! Or is it quite obvious - the `M' model was the only one that ever saw service outside the USSR - at least in the middle east?
Cheers, Sumantra. |

I don't think you can see the difference unless the engines are visible as the M model has bigger engines. Unless there is some other feature that differentiates the two. Then again, most models that are still around are M models. |

Hey Sumantra, the IL-62 belongs to Alim Airlines. There's only one IL-62 still in ALIM colors (SU-ZDA), which is stored at CAI, & it's an 'M' model. |

Sameer and 747-237, thanks a lot for the information!
And Sameer, apologies for spelling your name incorrectly.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Always nice to have a change of scenery from the repetitive (but still great ) BOM pics Himmat. Very nice... never seen pics of CAI before. _________________ eP007 |

Nice shots. Interesting airport. Sad to see the old 707s sitting there collecting dust ...and could that new control tower they are building be any taller!!? Yikes! _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/caribb/sets/1716147/ |
