Hi Shivendra,

I just happen to come across this pic on airliners.net and got me wondering about the modifications done on this aircraft, firstly:

1. What is that thing right below the door? is it a cannon?

2. Though the aircraft is based on the famous IL-76, what are the major modifications done on this aircraft?

3. Finally, how does it compare to the American AWACS?
