Apart from this lovely photo, I briefly browsed your collection on Flickr. The flower closeup photos are fantastic.
You still seem to be using your good old film SLR; I love mine too, its a Nikon N60. Nothing to beat the sound of a shutter click in an SLR while doing photography. _________________ I love to fly. |

For my flower macros, my Pns works perfectly well.
As much as I love my film SLR, it burns my pocket like anything. One thing you'll have to agree, film certainly gives more natural colours than D. Also, the sound of manual shutter is a turn-on for me as well.
thnx

The train pictures are dedicated to Vivek Manvi[His IRFCA interest]. It is because of him[His locomotive pictures rather], i primarily decided to visit the rail museum in delhi this time
Pictures clicked at
NATIONAL RAIL MUSEUM
Location: Shanti Path, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi
Timing: April-Sep. 9.30 am to 7.00 pm Oct- Mar. 9:30 am to 5 pm.
Closed : Monday
Attractions: Collection Of Locomotives And Carriages
The Rail Transport Museum is a must for rail buffs. There are models of train engines and coaches and it is a train-lovers delight. Its pride is a model of India's very first train, a steam engine that made its journey from Mumbai to Thane in 1853.
The locomotives here are all displayed in the open although there is a museum as well, which is a storehouse of information on the history of railways in India.
Its vintage displays include the oldest locomotive in the world-still working; the Viceregal Dining Car (1889) and the Prince of Wales Saloon (1875), Maharaja of Mysore's Saloon (1899), Maharaja of Baroda's Saloon (1886). The royal saloons are definitely worth a look for the elaborate interior design. To enter the royal saloons one has to buy a ticket.
The star attraction is the Fairy Queen, built in 1855, and considered to be the best preserved steam locomotive engines of her age. Children can enjoy a ride on the miniature rail track. _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

Infact, i owe it to you. I primarily did not imagine that clicking rail engines would give one a high as it does now.
Pl do guide & updte if we can organise a spotting for trains as well _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

Embarking for Elephanta....
Shivaji
What a cool place to have a cool beer! Akbar next to Taj.

Some interesting cloud formation over my home (VABB).
Whiling away time with this USB adapter!
Roof of the below makeshift office at Hiranandani-megastructure-in the making!
16:9 view of Powai Lake.
Domes of a group of tall structures here; (They are visible from VABB apt.)
A backhoe excavator made from medicine strips- (The aluminum foils).
