Nice picture Nimish, the new HYD airport looks great! Can you give us an insight on the Shamshabad experience? _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

I tell you - I'm still swooning after going to Shamshabad. All the way - from the shuttle service, to the location, to the "photography friendliness" to the checkin, gates and so on - brilliant. This airport is going to rock and hopefully catapult HYD into the big time. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

The airport is very impressive; I went to HYD for the first time 2 weeks ago.
It took about 45 mins to get to the hotel (with no traffic) but that’s still better than the soon to be BIAL experience.
Rs. 95 one way isn’t bad at all! It's going to be twice as much to get to the new BLR airport right? _________________ eP007 |

I wish people from Bangalore read your trip report and realize the kind of world class airport they are missing if they keep harping on keeping the HAL airport open....
Excellent pictures...

Lovely pictures Nimish of the new HYD airport and of course your return journey on the Garib Rath!
You seem to have had a great plane-fanning and rail-fanning trip.

Nice pics Nimish, good to see pics of HYD and what the Garib Rath looks like from inside. Couldn't get to see HYD pics as yet as Flickr is blocked in the UAE.
