STA( from BOM) : 825
ATA : 825

STD: 0915
ATD: taxt : 0910, takeoff roll : 0916

STA : 1100
ATA:1056 at gate.

a/c : B737-800 VT-JGV

This is what I would call superb flight, it just cannot get better than this.
Flawless timing, excellent service.

Reached MAA airport at 745. There was already a huge queue for security.
The terminal is in a mess, low cost operate from a different gate & full value from another. however after checking, security is common & only 3 people were doing that, leave aside one for ladies of that, and then its just 2 guys checking infinite people.

Xray was slow too.
Spotted Vt-EVS, & VT-INL which were at gate 4 & 5.

2 paramount a/c are grounded, a security guard confirmed this & said that they were there in front for last 15 days.
Paramount had cancelled their flights to Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kochi.
Surprisingly jet's BLR flight was cancelled.

VT-SHJ taxied from somewhere.
When we boarded VT-PAC came from somewhere, it was a welcome change to see paramount a/c landing. Couldnt see the load factor.

Spicejet was operating VT-SPD - Chilli, as SG226 to HYD & DEL.
S2 622 was on time as well, operated by VT-SIU.
Everything seemed like a well oiled machine.

Spotted
VT-KAK,
VT-DKI : has new Deccan colours, the ones with blue on engine.
VT-DKE
1 x B732 in IC colours.
VT-DKR in new Dn-Kf colours
VT-KFK
VT-SPE
VT-EPD

On the international terminal, there was an emirates A330, which was there even before we came to airport & was still there when we took off, it was A6-EAD
Another Srilankan, A330 joined it, at 850hrs, when boarding for us was already done.

I had flown once previously with 9W inflight, so this time it was checking out what all new features are added.
We cruised at 34001ft at 839 kmph.

Sadly no announcements were made by the pilot.
When I booked on the internet, I was eager to see empty a/c, being Sunday, I was hopefull that a/c would be empty, it turned out to be opposite,
a/c was 100% full in Business & Economy.

Service was quick & good. Food, too was warm & good.

This is one flight where I can say

On Time : 11/10
Service : 10/10
Food 9/10

The winglets looked beautiful..

Had to circle over Matheran twice before we landed, which again was very smooth.

When I was waiting for the bus, VT-JEE, B777-300ER landed & taxied.
So did B777 of BA, G-YMML

Other a/c spotted at BOM

VT-SPP : Rosemary
FKG
EYK
KFE
SCB
JND
JNH
JNL
JGR
JGT
SIJ
JNX
JNY
Saw the B738 in new colours take off & still coudnt figure out from time table where it flies.

The IFE was good, but they switch it off pretty early.
Compulsory safety video is not there like KFA,

(+) create your own jukebox

(-) your hands always busy on the screen.
