Haha, I was not judging you. I was only covering all the possibilities. I'm not a moral police. I don't give a damn about somebody's morals as it doesn't affect me. TBH I did't see anything wrong in taking a girl and I was the only one to see so in this thread.
BTW the above quote is my favorite and I really try to follow it. |

i see nothing wrong in bringing a girl along either if you want to share your passion for spotting or aircrafts with her. Whats wrong? surely doing that isnt. I'd love it if i could get the 2 most passionate things in my life to share an experience at the same time.
what i'd be against is there are some stupid acts done in public that would risk the hobby. A peck on the cheek is not what i consider stupid either btw.

Yes the said member does have a name.
The member has sent me a pm requesting not to disclose his name and divulge any more details of his physical deeds. He has got the message loud and clear.
And my point of view is simple. Keep spotting places to spotting planes. Come with whomsoever and SPOT.

I think that what you have done is nothing less than stirring up the hornets nest.
Well although you are right in suggesting to leave spotting places to spotting, you cannot stop any member from experimenting his wild fantasies with the opposite sex at a time appropriate to him and her.
I think there is a law to such kind of exposure in public. So let him face the music, while you people spot both of it, as much as you can, cos you must know that it won't last that long.......either the plane on the taxiway or the act of the said member

Well ,
I got an anonymous SMS saying this " IF YOU EVER OPEN UR MOUTH , I'LL SLIT UR THROAT AND THAT WILL BE THE END OF THAT " .
Ever since this thread started, i've been recieving obcene blank calls.
I do not even know about anyone going with anyone to that place at that hour, yet i recieve anonymous smses and blank phonecalls.
I am not going to pursue these cases cos i do not want to end up like adnan patrawala!!!!
WHAT NEXT I WONDER?

Jeesh, the shit is hitting the fan guys! All i can say is that Jari Mari is scary at night, when i went there with Saurabh, it was jsut creepy, not a place you want to be with 1lakh+ worth of camera equipment.
Further, i stepped into numerous turds of human shit and not to mention i fell extremely sick the next day. The worst of all was getting called by the guys over there saying that we shouldnt spot at night because the cops regularly come around and interrogate people sitting there at night!
As far as people messaging other ppl threats, all i can say is that thats the wrong thing to do, all it will take is one FIR and its a very seriosu offence, yes, even in our country it is!
I am all for woman power, etc ,etc but to be honest, i dont feel safe there myself at night, if my girlfriend ever wanted to go there, i would think 1000 times. The truth is, she would never really want to go there at night.
You guys still have it good there in Mumbai, try doing something like that her ein Punjab, you will run into atleast 1000+ dirty men, who are drunk, and will probably try to rape you, let alone the women you are with.
Just my opinion.

OK - glad to get that sorted out.
Well ultimately I'm mainly worried only about the safety of the girl at that spot. If this place is indeed as unsafe as it sounds like - I would strongly discourage anyone from bringing their girlfriends there at night (unless they have an uncle or someone very senior in the local police force , and said uncle can provide protection during the spotting sessions)! |
