Why are Indians obsessed with crockery?

Or is it only Air Indians?

In 2 years when these poor 777s will look like a BEST bus, paan stains and all, AI will still be saying how grand their crockery is.

In any case, it sure beats the crap they have right now in First and Business. AI's First Class meal presentation looks worse than something you'd see in the average US College dining hall.

People paying 50000 rs. for a ticket, will have sense of keeping it clean, talking about adult of course. Besides that most of the travelers will be NRIs who`s lived in North America or Europe, who will be more aware of the environment.

Having said all of that, If you present good and clean interior to any audience, spoilers will think repeatedly to not disturb or spoil the environment.

Main issue would be,If AI staff and management will be active enough to pay attention to details( includes cleaning, repairing all other customer service).

Problem is most of the F Class passengers probably won't be paying to sit up front.

F-class, if you are meaning first class,

well, Singapore airlines has F class empty seats most of the time.again not sure on all route but on couple of major routes, from what i have seen.

In contrast with BA, where I`ve seen a moderately filled front on major routes. It depends on airlines reputation and smartness (how well they manage, so a passenger comes back again).

but IF you are saying that service (cleanliness, amenities, all other service) is so good at the back that F class passenger won`t feel like buying a F class ticket, is a wrong concept.

One basic reason is that for 16 hr. long flight if you can sleep your leg stretched is worth paying for, also the stature of person matters.

For AI there`s a lot of F class passenger:
Mainly Bollywood

That's not what I meant. I meant that it would be likely that those sitting up there wouldn't be paying passengers but instead those with upgrades or friends/family of employees, employees, etc.

Pictures from Air India may take some time to come, so contacted CNN-IBN as they seemde to have the best coverage of the inflight experience.

Directed to their video and this is what a passenger will get as IFE:
Wonder whether TV has been activated as Air India was hoping for Live TV.

The uniforms don't seem to be new. The same Blue and Red.
