Air Canada suspends Toronto – Delhi in June/July 2019
Air Canada in recent schedule update filed service changes for Toronto – Delhi route, as the airline temporary suspends this service from 15JUN19 to 31JUL19 (YYZ departure).
This route is currently operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft on daily basis.

AC043 DEL0040 – 0735YYZ 789 D
The Star Alliance carrier will continue to operate Vancouver – Delhi route during this period.

Air Canada closes Toronto – Delhi reservations to late-August 2019
Air Canada in the last few days filed inventory changes, which sees the closure of reservation on Toronto – Delhi route, from 01AUG19 to 29AUG19 (YYZ departure).
Reported last week on Airlineroute, the Star Alliance carrier is temporary suspending this route from 15JUN19 to 31JUL19.

Air Canada to resume full India schedule
24.07.2019
Air Canada announced it will resume its daily, nonstop Toronto–Delhi flights on October 1, 2019 (eastbound) and October 3, 2019 (westbound).
The Toronto–Delhi flights will be operated initially with Boeing 787 Dreamliners and beginning October 27, additional capacity will be added to this route with 400-seat Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Air Canada’s seasonal Toronto–Mumbai flights will operate four times weekly from October 27, 2019 until March 28, 2020 with Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.
Air Canada will have up to 18 weekly flights conveniently connecting a multitude of cities in North America to Delhi from both Toronto and Vancouver, and to Mumbai from Toronto.

Air Canada in winter 2019/20 season plans to operational aircraft changes for Toronto – Delhi route, as the Star Alliance carrier scheduled 400-seater 777-300ER on this route, replacing Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The 777 is scheduled from 27OCT19 to 27MAR20, Toronto departure.
Following schedule is effective from 03NOV19 to 07MAR20.

I wonder which version of the 77W it is - the 40 J or 28 J. Either way it is at least 100+ seats added daily over the 789. Good for them. With the AI add plus all the AC flights YVR-DEL, YYZ-DEL/BOM really great connectivity between Canada and India. Hopefully AC will soon make YYZ-BOM year round (even if it is 4X in the summer) |
