Lovely! Your descriptive style means that the reader will feel your tiredness (after such a long set of flights) as he/she reads through the lines. It is nice how you have managed to get flights on rather exotic plane types.
If I may ask, why were you worried that your US Debit card may not work in the US? Do you have a Debit card, or a Check card? I've often wondered about the differences between the two: for a Mastercard/Visa-branded one, they seem to be identical. US banks typically call it a `check card', or at least, used to.
It is interesting that you linked the surrounds to the movies, Home Alone!
Lovely ORD pics and descriptions! This is possibly one US airport I have wandered around, the most, and I have many pleasant memories of my numerous trips to and via ORD.
I have some not-so-pleasant memories of a delayed departure out of ORD to MSP (the same route as you) in June 2007, when UA misplaced my bags as well. I will possibly write about this ordeal sometime.
It is nice that you got this bird a short while before its final retirement.
All lights off and a dark cabin prior to take-off is something which we travellers in this age are not quite used to.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Thank you so much for taking the time out and reading this report
I'm glad I'm logging in the Mad Dogs here - I suppose I would like a B764 some time, too!

I was just worried because I tried two bookings on Allegiant's website nearly three months prior - I was just worried hey had blocked the card for the second transaction. That being said, my debit card worked in Munich and on the United flight, so all's well that ends well

I might've seen the Home Alone 2 movie while in Gurgaon - just to get the exact details of the terminal.

Oh boy, that will be an interesting one!
