Srilankan Airlines takes off with aero-domain

SriLankan Airlines' corporate website has changed from www.srilankan.lk to www.srilankan.aero. However, users would be able to log in to the www.srilankan.lkaddress for at least the next 12 months, until the www.srilankan.aero identity becomes well established. SriLankan will be among many thousands which have registered an aero-domain, including airlines, aviation industry news services, engineering and maintenance firms and service organisation.

BBC has also announced that Sri Lankan is stopping all domestic flights with immmediate effect becuase of the LTTE threat. (June 1, 2007)
