Few pictures and complete review at the below link
Flight Review: Jet Airways from Pune to Coimbatore via Bengaluru
Background
A cross country holiday was being planned and that involved few flights & train journeys. The first of which was till Coimbatore with either non-stop flights from Mumbai or one-stop ones from Pune.
Website Experience – Booking & Web Check-in
The tickets were redemption of JP Miles from two different accounts and the online redemption process was smooth, efficient and hassle free. Seat selection was allowed and tickets emailed in no time.
There were a few options on this sector, including one by IndiGo via Chennai and three by Jet Airways, early morning departure via Bengaluru, evening via Chennai and Afternoon via Bengaluru which we choose.
Rotation
The airline has increased its utilization many folds with swaps at metros for engineering requirements and evening departures to Gulf sectors. The Pune – Bengaluru flight operates after arrival from Kolkata via Mumbai. On the day of departure there was an additional flight being operated on Mumbai – Pune – Bengaluru with Jetlite aircraft. _________________ www.networkthoughts.com |

A much-awaited set of trip reports, especially awaited for those fortunate enough to have known the travel plans of the Joshi family, for a well-deserved break. And what an itinerary!
The usual Ameya-esque parts as usual stood out: the planning, and the plane-ing (the rotations)
It is heartening to see Jet ramp up th overall experience, ever since the airline went full-service. The food part has also been quite nice. I have had a few nice experiences on this airline, of late, which I will write about (albeit late).
Nice pictures at BLR: especially the exotics that SpiceJet dishes out.
Thank you for a nice report as usual, and I look forward to reading the other two.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

I'm not surprised people were taking apron pictures, I'm surprised nobody stopped them. This whole 'sensitive area' thing is a bit silly IMO.
Quite a shabby transfer experience at BLR .....with only 8 people hahahaha
Nice TR _________________ eP007 |

Ameya sir, lovely TR from you!
Looks like another reasonable set of Jet flights. I find it sad that all Jet flights have one thing in common: DIRTY WINDOWS!
Transfer seems to have gone seamlessly which is nice to know, except for the CISF mucking up. Sad.
Looking forward to the rest of your airline comparisons!
Regards

Lovely TR ameya!
I truly agree, PNQ airport rocks!!! even on an international flight you are just 10 to 12 minutes from car to gate.
Thanks for sharing. |
