Interestingly, the aviation ministry is keen on having the hotel ready for another reason also. DIAL has provided for all range of hotels in the new IGI master plan. Centaur was once again caught up in aviation polictics. Another scam worth investigation. Centaur Mumbai, when it was just about turning around, was suspiciously sold for a dirt cheap prize and then was immediately resold to a party which led to a conflict of interests with Air India.

Ceutaur Rajgir is another case altogether, while Centaur Srinagar is now a dormitory for security forces!!

The Airport Centaur hotel at BOM was finally owned by Sahara Industries.But is it 100% completed.It does not look so from outside.
