Nice catch, with a rather sad tinge. You may have missed some of my laments on seeing ex-AI, ex-9W and ex-IT birds in the space of some 2 hours, at the A concourse at JFK itself, on 20 Apr 2015. See the pictures at the end of the following thread:
http://www.airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com/airlinersindia-ftopic13885-200.html
With such a fine hardware configuration, how nice would it have been to see an Indian airline flying all around the world?
Cheers, Sumantra. |

I am not a jet setter. Compared to most people here I hardly fly! However I had two memorable events in my very brief list of flights.
One was transferring from one Indian Airlines international flight to another Indian Airlines international flight at SIN and I had to queue at the Changi transit desk to collect my onward boarding pass (my baggage was checked through to my final destination) but I did not have a SIN visa. Everything went without a hitch!!!!
The other was flying a Jet Airways BOM MAA service on an A320 many many years before Jet got its first Airbus aircraft. |

Sorry for going off-topic...

I guess not. Or was it the other popular IC 555 one, on an A300?

Sumantaraji
No trip report on the Jet A320 BOM MAA... It was nearly 20 years back but I came across a trip report I had posted in Airliners.net on the MAA-X/SIN-BKK - MAA way back in 2002 on IC.
I am posting in the TR forum along with a couple of other interesting old reports of mine. |
