I don't see how EY is going to benefit from this. What sort of partnership can they have with AF-KLM, given the kind of issues the EU biggies have with the Gulf carriers?
As for Jet, they should have joined Skyteam long ago, and made either CDG or AMS their EU hub. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

The EU biggies primarily have issues with EK. QR was able to join oneworld, I am sure EK will not be welcome in any alliance. EY is the smallest of the ME three and is on track to own a part of Alitalia. Better to join forces with the smaller ME Big 3 to counter EK than to go at it alone. |

What exactly is the JV for? Which routes? Can be a precursor to a deeper relationship between EY and AF/KL - which is a good thing IMO _________________ We miss you Nalini! |
