Is it becoming too often a concern with LCC. Even I believe the PAX patience is running out on all these issues. Shouldnt DGCA look into these matters more seriously.

What I am worried is that if the AC was down, how were they able to maintain normal air temperature inside. Shouldnt it be a furnace, and suffocating inside with no air recirculation?

What's going on here now a days?? Looks like in time to come, Hijackers would be out of business with Passengers taking their places.

On a serious note, I knew LCC tries and save money on what every it can, but atleast not cut costs on Maintainence. Faulty AC is a spin off from this only.

Cheers

If the AC does not work. The Aircraft will never pressurise & can never fly >8000 ft Smile

The problem looks like U/s APU,so Conditioned Air will be available post Engine start up.

The 2nd could be the Air mix valve is stuck in the hot position. Then too the other AC pack could supply adequate AC airflow.

Something is not right.

Is an APU part of teh MEL (Min Eqpt List)? Would an inop APU create a no-go situation?
