A BJP MP from Arunachal Predesh has also levelled another sensational claim.

That China has got large area of India under its control.
He says he knows it has 20 sq.km but it could run into hundreds of km.

India has denied it but this was exactly the same denial used during Kargil.

This claim was made in NDTV.

20 Kms is a lot of territory. I don't think that China has managed to acquire that much of the territory. It may be true, but a small part of the territory. As mentioned above, this could also be due to unclear demarcation. We may as well be claiming to be a territory which they have occupied since 1962??

I remember a similar thing happened few years back also when a border patrol raised a huge Hue and cry about chinese being in our territory. Later it turned out that they had crossed over(Unknowingly of course), gone to their territory and observed them and then raised a hue and cry.
