I'm sure the musically inclined among you have heard of U2. Here's an article ranking their dozen studio releases, from the 80s through to today:

Bit harsh on Zooropa for mine, then again, I didn't write the article.
In fact, most non-hardcore fans of the band don't rate Zooropa or Pop - or the other efforts from the 1990s, much at all.
But they praise October - which was a typically poor sophomore album. Perhaps it's just the nostalgia.

Edit: Just shuffled through the archives, here are a couple of my articles on the band:
#1 A NEGATIVE review of their Live 360° album:

(Nothing on the band's performance itself, of course)
#2 And an expected POSITIVE take on The Joshua Tree:

Okay, which song from Joshua Tree tops the list for me? I'd think its the shortest one: In Gods Country, followed by With or Without You, and then Still Havent Found ... |

My western musical sojourn more or less ended with Joshua Tree album of U2. Didn't bother to follow anything happened after that in the name of music.
Whenever time permits I go back to Ian Anderson's (Jethro Tull) flute or Ray Manzarek's (The Doors) systhesizer, Jim Morrison's vocal or Mark Knopfler/ Eric Clapton's guiter. Youtube makes it easier, in my student years music was not free flowing as it is today.
Hip-hop, Rap- I say to the singers: stop the crap!
Spiderguy252, thanks for bringing up Music on a slow Thursday afternoon for me _________________ Tally Sheet:
