Yup!!! The famous ISP and US based portal American Online (AOL) has finally invaded the India webspace. They have launched the Indian version of AOL, not Internet services. Actually American Online is the name of the organization. So, a brand exists and enjoys a good market goodwill worldover so, why to take chances by launching IOL? It's the same as Canada Dry cold-drink being launched as India Dry. No offences to anyone... Moreover, AOL got it's domain as .in, which I like a lot. _________________ Nalini... Honestly, nothing other than Canada Dry was striking my mind... I think with time AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) will surely gain popularity amongst the Indians...Lets hope for the best... It's only in Asia & Europe that MSN/Yahoo are popular and AIM is not.
