Hello,

Is Jet airways getting their first 777-300 ER before may 5th? I saw one of their ads which said that new Jet Airways first class will be introduced in the BOM - London sector on 5th may.

I expect not. I have read reports that 9W will hold a launch funciton at Brussles on May 23 when two aircraft that it will take delivery of on that week (1x 777 and 1xA330) will visit Brussels as part of the function. I expect the 777 wil be the first of type for 9W and will stop enroute to BOM at Brussels for the function.

9W took delivery of its first A330 in new livery with new J Class on Apr 28.

That ceremony in Brussels is to be on May 2nd, not the 23rd. I believe I read that both the 777 and the A330 will be on hand for it. The A330 has already been delivered and the 777 should be soon. There is no reason for the 777 to take another month for delivery. They might even have the second one in a months time. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the inaugural flight is to be LHR-BOM?

I stand corrected, have checked and you're right - the show in BRU is on this Wed May 2. A330 has arrived in BRU already here's the link for a pic of it arriving at the airport earlier:

So, it would seem then, that the B777 will be delivered before May 5.
