But anyways, it was yet another chaotic race in Brazil! Heavy rains, crashes, everything!

It saw Michael Schumacher retire once again from Formula One.
It saw Lewis Hamilton bow out of McLaren, sadly, crashing out.
It saw Fernando Alonso loose what could have been his 5th World Championship.
It saw Felipe Massa back on his home podium, in tears.
It saw the usual suspects (Grosjean and Maldonado!) crash out on the first lap.

But yes, I won't disagree. Coming up from last to a championship winning position is fantastic, after Vettel was facing the wrong way in the first lap.

With all of this, everyone forgets one thing: Jenson Button was the eventual winner of the race. He won the first race of 2012, and the last race.
This race could have seen another popular win.
After Nico Rosberg taking Mercedes' first win in China since the 1950s,
Pastor Maldonado taking Williams' first win in 8 years in Spain,
Fernando Alonso's win on home turf in Valencia,
and Kimi Raikkonen taking Lotus' first win since Senna's win in the 1980s..

NICO HULKENBURG OF FORCE INDIA LED THE RACE FOR 29 OF THE 71 LAPS! Instead, he spun, and then crashed into Lewis Hamilton. This would have been popular win number 5 of the season, but that was not to be.
Even if he won the race, it wouldn't have helped Force India with the money in the constructors championship.

I'll talk about one man, Kimi Raikkonen.
He has a unique personality.
He talks close to nothing, he never smiles.
But when he talks, you are sure to laugh!

Raikkonen is now famous because of his replies en route to winning the Abu Dhabi GP, which were 'Just leave me alone! I know what to do!' and 'Yes, yes, yes yes, I'm doing it all the time, you don't have to keep reminding me every second.'

But that is how he is.
Anyways, he has had a few eventful Brazilian Grand Prix.
In 2006, he bad mouthed in an interview Razz

In 2007, he won the 2007 World Championship.
In 2008, he helped Felipe Massa to win the World Championship, which didn't happen.
In 2009, he got his car set ablaze in the pit lane and still finished the race.
In 2010 and 2011, he wasn't in F1.
In 2012, well, it surely will go down as Raikkonen's best moments in F1. Here he is, going off track, onto the old parts, realizing there isn't a way out, turns around and continues back on track!

He finished 10th last night, 1 point.
He is also the only driver this year to finish all laps, and he finished all but one race in the points.
Kimi's comeback is surely a massive success!

It was Niko Hulkenberg's last race with Force India. He moves to Sauber next season.

If he had won the race last night, we would have heard the Indian national anthem play for the first time ever on an F1 podium (Force India is an Indian flagged team even though it is based in the UK)

Sadly it wasn't meant to be!

This isn't the first time Force India came close to winning. In fact, at the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix, Giancarlo Fisichella took pole position and finished second, just 0.9s behind the race winning Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen. Thanks to the Kinetic Energy Recovery System, Raikkonen was able to pull out a bold move on Fisi, taking the lead. But he never ran away, the Force India, hung on to its tail..
The podium also turned out to be Force India's maiden points in Formula One.
