Airbus CEO jumps out of an A400M airlifter
Airbus President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders and Bruno Delannoy, A400M program manager for the OCCAR organization of European customer defense ministers, jumped out the back of an A400 over Spain Saturday.
The jump came just after a week after Airbus parent EADS finalized an agreement with customer nations to save the over-budget A400M program.
The A400M is a key program for EADS, with the potential for continuing financial headaches but also for generating sales in a new market for the company, possibly competing with Boeing for U.S. Defense Department business.
The A400M airlifter has drops 10 parachutists over La Juliana airfield, Spain on Nov. 13, 2010.

A400M to get new name as first delivery draws near
With Europe's largest collaborative defence project just weeks away from achieving the debut flight of its first production aircraft, Airbus Military will display its A400M at the Farnborough air show using the product name "Atlas" for the first time.
Backed by partner nations Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Turkey and the UK, the formal acceptance of the new name is due to be formalised at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire during a ceremony on 6 July. Its confirmation is no surprise, as the event had originally been scheduled to take place at the same show in 2011, before non-essential flights involving the programme's "Grizzly" development aircraft were halted by an issue with the Europrop International (EPI) TP400-D6 turboprop engine.
Airbus Military will bring one of its test fleet to Farnborough with a new name _________________ 11000 posts (and counting) on Airliners-India.
