Photography is not permitted on military airports all civilian airports one can take photographs as per DGCA circular.

ASFAIK last time when I flew to MUM on G8 the flight crew made an announcement that,Passengers are allowed to take photos inside the airport terminal but not on board the acft according to the DGCA rule.
So they have relaxed their old rule. The problem right now is not taking photographs but its with most of the airports not having a viewers gallery, at a convinient point to take photos of flights take off and land. _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |

NO PHOTOGRAPHY ON TARMAC & IN DEFENCE AERODROMES.

Some airlines however do not allow photography on board their flights also. GoAir crew didn't allow my cousin to click at BOM after take off. He wanted to click the cabin of the aircraft. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

Does it imply that DCGA has changed the rules.
Can anyone be kind enough to post the new rules ?

As far as I know, there is a proposal for Observation Deck in new DEL Terminal, not actually what it suggets but use of more glasses to allow visibility of the aircrafts... _________________ Nalini...
