I think the new livery for Air India and Indian post merger has already been decided:

Paine Field - 29 March 2007: All 3 new AIs are out, 3rd one dosent wear full colours

However

Paine Field - 6 April 2007: Only 2 AIs are out, VT-ALC is missing. I think it is in the paint shop gettin the new colours.

Any comments?

It not inside info since NO ONE (including me) has seen it or has heard any rumours about wat it could be. We dont know if it has been decided or not. The explaination i gave in my post was that looking at the 2 photos i came to a tentitive conclusion that it might have already been decided.

Lets wait for a few days to see if VT-ALC comes back in the pre-delivery area and does it carry full colours of AI or AI-IC.

The Last comment is dated a long time back.
Matt Cawby uploads the photo of KPAE under the same name 'pae108' thus photo changes but the comments remain the same...

I will email whoever wants a photo from 29-march.

This photo of Matt is quite popular on Anet.

Hopefully the new livery is the same.

VT-ALC is back out at KPAE still wearing the red engines and tail lines but is now the fuselage n rest of the tail is white. Check it out.

Comparing this list with the above picture tells us the next Jet 773 is not far behind, might even be next to appear as the Air France, JAL, and EVA before it have already been spotted.
