AI has a wet-leased 757 too. Are you saying he didn't see it because it was elsewhere at the time or because you think AI does not have a 757?

Just In!!!

Flying hospital brings hope to India's blind millions

MUMBAI (Reuters) - The world's only flying eye hospital is on a two-week mission to India to perform free surgeries and train hundreds of eye care personnel in a country that has the world's largest blind population.

An estimated 75 percent of India's 12 million blind people suffer from avoidable blindness because of the country's limited eye care infrastructure that has only one eye surgeon per 100,000 people.

Authorities say a national programme to control blindness is expected to reach its blindness elimination target of 0.3 percent by 2015, five years before the World Health Organisation deadline of 2020.

Had 10 minutes between 0300-0310 hrs to check out the DC10.But managed to get to the International Cargo section before I had to return. It was not at the IC hangar or International Cargo section at that time.
Should be at the International Bays.I'll try to get to work early tonight so I have have more free time.

Nice to see charitable people here.

Birendra reminds me of Vabby and Mel who helped me when we organised a similar eye camp by spreading awareness.

Were they the Airport Security Guards or some private people as if private, how were they allowed in the apron area???

What does it mean when a lot of GRD AC HOSES are connected.

Is it for the equipment they use on board.

And Karan, can we request you to have a picture, if it is convenient.

Thank you Mel.

The Guards looked in Khaki, probably CISF.As I was driving & they were seated at a distance away.

Considering the Heat in BOM currently.Having 3 Ground AC carts provide AC for the Aircraft without operating the APU.

Which is understandably considering the work carried out on board.
