Great TR .... (almost) the worst time to fly but what to do.

Why didnt you book an interline ticket? Just to experience FZ J Cool

IFE screens are in Y also, however at a charge.

It was a Saturday night and had to report to work on Sunday and I was completely occupied till 2100hrs so no chance of EK515. Hence Flydubai.

Thanks for posting a great report with excellent photos.

It was interesting to read how a LCC is creating a niche in the business class segment and seems like they are ticking the right boxes. Only such innovations will see companies thrive.

Thanks a lot Sri!

Agree with you completely, out of the box thinkers will only survive.

So basically, none of the Indian carriers will survive.

A very interesting trip report, thanks for sharing!

I quite like FZ - even for Y I guess they have a decent product. Nice to see a unique J class option on this sector. Looking forward to more! Smile

Regards
Jish

Lovely TR Ojas Sir! It started off in a typical manner, with the history of the airline, its rise, and current schedules. Then came the selection of the itinerary, which all of us aviation nutters can relate to! And you went through my home airport, DEL (lovely pictures and descriptions!). The next time Sir, please drop a PM, let us try to meet up.
FlyDubai J looks very nice, and they have carved a nice niche for themselves in the LCC line. The meal looks quite nice: both the solid food, as well as the nice red to go with it. I guess that like me, you like the red better than the white, which people say goes better with chicken, fish and sea-food, and some vegetarian offerings.
I also liked the punning session with Srinivas, ticking the right boxes, and thinking out of the box.
Thank you for sharing a lovely TR with us, on an airline exotic for most of us!
Cheers, Sumantra.
