That was a great read Rochel! The pics were wonderful too. I've flown SriLankan on two occasions- in 2000 and 2004 and have had the chance to try all three of their aircraft types- the A320, the A330 and the A340 and I have to say that UL puts the other government owned carriers in the region to shame.
Thanks for posting!

Excellent TR!
Good for you that you got an upgrade.
Hope Sri Lankan maintains their standards in an environment of stiff competition from other carriers. And also thanks for clicking the pictures of my hometown Doha! |

thx avbuff. You are most welcome. Yes UL is still in some good shape. once in a while only will get some bad flight or something. that happens in most of the flights. but so far UL is good. _________________ Proud to be a Sri Lankan

Nice TR Rohel, good to know that UL is still able to maintain quality even after EK pulled out of the JV.
On the approach to DOH I saw a few constructions that looks similar to the Palm in Dubai. Has this craze of builiding palms reached DOH too. I for one would not like to stay in those, one tsunami and the whole thing will be wrecked.

Nice TR.
Honestly the food didn't look all that great for a J class meal. It looked like a regular Y meal, presentation (and menu) included. I hope it tasted better
IFE + seats seemed a little old but comfortable. _________________ eP007 |
