Finally went spotting @ ORD with local spotter Ivan Voukadinov http://jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=37673 last week.

First heavy of the day

GOA Very Happy

This is a cracking spot at ORD where you can catch touchdowns but you also get stalked by 'alert' Americans dressed in FBI suits out here Laughing

http://www.flickr.com/photos/yash_rajgor/ for better resolution pictures.

Cheers,
Yash

Its an amazing spot...safer on weekends. Unfortunately my 55-250 isn't good enough for most of the spots. Gotta get the 100-400

^^ can identify MDLR 146, Blue Dart 732, 2 IAF 748's bottom-right.
Whats that white tail behind the 748's or is it the side of the hanger ?

Btw, i saw a few BAe 146's here in the UK right now & those seem like very powerful birds, 4 engines for that little an airplane make SOME noise !!

Manish - that's a BAe ATP; a short lived development of the HS748 of which only 64 were ever built. This a/c (VT-FFA) was operated by First Flight Couriers. The a/c is currently de-registered and stored at DEL pending litigation between the First Flight and the leasing company.
