Hi,
I just wanted to ask whether it's okay to spot in the new airports at BLR and HYD. In 2007, I was forced to delete a few pics I had taken at the old BLR airport (HAL). Since they are privately operated now, are they spotter friendly?
On another note, how about MAA?

Not very spotter friendly at BLR or HYD - we were chased away last year. We still do go spotting, but have to work to find our spot.

No problems at HYD. We had a good time spotting there last year. You can spot from the upper level (Departures) of the airport terminal building. This gives you views of aircraft parked at the gates as well as taxiing aircraft.
Of course given the present security concerns, you might have to be careful while spotting anywhere in India. 
Here are some of the pics I clicked at HYD.
We need to find out a better spot to catch the take-off and approach shots. Also, heat is a major factor at HYD.

the only problem in spotting in HYD as far as i know is the lack of traffic..
