Indian Chui,

IMHO you are an amazing photographer. Now your equipment goes ahead to make a statement.

PS: Any particular reason you did not wait for the 5D Mark II.

Yash: The lenses are in the bag at the time... i was more excited about the new camera, i bought it body only, so it didnt come with any lens.

Karan: That VS 346 shot was a total fluke! I have never managed to get a shot like that again Smile I was lucky! Too bad the weather here in AMS hasnt been all that good, its very rare that we get a sunny day, so i really havent had the chance to try it out.

Biren:Nice to see you back! 5D MkII is and was always out of my budget, couldnt justify the price, plus im scared to venture into the full frame arena! I have just about got settled with this sensor size.

Thanks for your replies guy.

Regards
Nitini

no point in going for full frame if zooming is your primary aim....full frame is more for wide angle or studio shooters.

yes Nitin in these colder countries you literally have to beg the clouds to get out of your way. Nothing beats a non-hazy day in India.

Thanks, my older one was the Canon 400D. I still have it, i plan on using it as a backup, but i know i will probably never need to use it and will end up selling it.

I get very sentimental about my cameras Smile and computers, and phones, haha

Aseem: yup full frame was scary for me Smile And yup never realized the weather problem before, because at home, its either sunny or rainy... no real inbetween.

what are the current retailing prices for the 450D's (cheaper abroad?? or in the EU in ur case?) and in your experience/opinion is the 450D a definitely concrete step up/must have compared to the 400?
