Wow Sean, lovely capture!
When did you click these 2 pictures at Jari Mari? Is the situation again back to normal there?
Thanks, Sumantra. |

It's an Airbus A310-222 --- no winglets.

Same plane last year.

Edinburgh - Turnhouse, UK - Scotland, September 9, 2007.
Smoke billows from this Belgian Defence A310 after the aircraft developed a fire in the port engine on landing.
The incident immediately saw a full response from the airport's fire section, although the fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival at the scene.
After inspection, the aircraft was able to taxi using its own power under the watchful eye of a fleet of fire trucks.

...Or could we all be mistaken - it could be an A310-308 which
did a Khozikode landing, given the propensity of the plane to get
into trouble - smoking, and all?
Sorry, bad joke - Mods please delete if you feel right.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

In an 'Enlightening' Spotting session a day b4 this 310 left BOM, me and VJ caught 2 of these Defensive Birds baking in the Sun! One was at Intl Terminal T2 - A and the other was besides VT-VJP A330 at the 32 End parking bays. We were hoping for them to depart, but ALAS!
Thankfully Sean got it b4 it left!
